Welcome to Jurmala
NIC.LV has the pleasure of welcoming you all to Jurmala - the biggest resort town in the Baltic States. Jurmala is surrounded by water from two sides - the city's southern side borders with the coasts of river Lielupe for 30 kilometers, but the northern edge - with the Gulf of Riga for 24 kilometers.
Fine pubs and a small lovely pedestrian Jomas street (1.1 kilometers long) with local boutiques and shops is just a 2 minute walk away.
If you plan to arrive early or leave a day after the conference you are welcome to join a Jurmala City museum tour, please inform us by writing to email@example.com (till the 31st of January).
The centre of Jūrmala, Majori, is 17 km from the Riga International Airport. A 15-20 minute taxi ride from the airport to Majori should not cost more than EUR 20. The Baltic Taxi (T. +371 20008500) and Red Cab (T. +371 8383) taxi companies are available to guests arriving at the airport right outside the arrivals hall.
