On 10-11 December, the CENTR working group (WG) chairs and vice-chairs met in Brussels, to exchange ideas on agenda-building, opportunities for further collaboration between working groups, to study the dynamics between the Registry Registrar Data Group (RRDG) and the Registry Data Nerds (RDN), and to plan the 2019 Jamboree agenda, among many other topics. As well as being highly productive, these sessions are also an opportunity for the CENTR staff to thank their chairs and vice-chairs for the hard work they put into steering the WG output.
The working groups are at the heart of CENTR’s work and the engine of new projects, initiatives and collaborative work. During this fourth annual meeting, the WG leaders shared their expectations and experiences of what works and what does not during meetings. They also planned the agenda for the 2019 Jamboree, which will take place in the Netherlands. The discussions were fruitful and we look forward to seeing where 2019 will take us!
