The initiative DNS Women was founded in 2009 in ICANN. DNS Women is the first organization dedicated to promoting and empowering women in the DNS industry.

Mission: a global networking organization that provides encouragement, inspiration, and active support to women in the DNS industry.

DNS Women is a vibrant community composed of over 400 influential women from across the globe. We embrace diversity in job roles, areas of expertise, geographical representation and sector involvement, all aimed at fostering collaboration that catalyzes positive growth within the DNS industry.

There are several chapters existing worldwide, at CENTR with the help of Luisa Lopes (CEO of .PT) we want to create the European chapter by collaborating with our members and creating mentorships, cross-registry collaborations and positive experiences for women in our community.

- IGF meeting in Norway | 23-27 June
