Over 2021, CENTR decided to partner up with WeForest and commit to growing a tree in exchange for every completed survey response by its members. We are delighted to announce that we surpassed our initial goal of 1000 survey responses, and were able to contribute to growing 1200 trees!
As always, we are incredibly grateful to our active community, who demonstrated that despite the pandemic they remain keen to share their knowledge and experiences with each other.
We supported the Wildlife Corridors project in the Brazil Atlantic Forest, a project that is restoring the native forest and reconnecting the Morro do Diabo State Park to the Iguaçu National Park. At the same time, this project aims to conserve biodiversity and help the local community make a living and learn to protect their forest.
